Job description:
The Pricing Coordinator is essential to our company's success, responsible for accurately managing pricing data entry and ensuring full compliance with state regulations and company standards. Through attention to detail and commitment to excellence, the Pricing Coordinator supports the company’s goal of exceeding business objectives and enhancing overall efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Responsible for all new Suppliers and items to be set up, pricing items accurately and adding to all price lists accordingly. All completed in VIP Beverage System.
· Process Pricing Changes: Carefully review and process price change requests and price increase, including entering new FOB. Maintain all price lists and retailer overrides. Also set up and maintain multiple discount groups for all Markets.
- Handle all new item requests to chains– including chain forms / product authorizations and portal uploads.
- Notify chains of price increases via forms or web updates where applicable. Update QD files for all Markets as they change
- Responsible for all Wine & Spirits SLA Price posts monthly by the 5th of each month and updating files for sales department monthly.
- Change promo pricing weekly / monthly for a large and expanding portfolio of brands.
· Perform Data Maintenance: Conduct routine data cleanup tasks to uphold the quality and integrity of pricing data, including creating and ending deals and managing discontinued items.
· Review price overrides, pricing accuracy and correct prices when necessary.
· Compile monthly Billing Data: Gather and compile data for end-of-month billing related to supplier rebate, samples, and free goods
· Manage Discounts and Depletion Allowances: Ensure accurate entry of approved discounts and depletion allowances.
· Maintains price books for wine & Spirits / Draft / Chain / and Non- Alc
Skills and Expertise You Bring to the Table:
· High school diploma with a one-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred, or 12 months of related experience/training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
· Beverage Wholesaler experience preferred.
· Proficiency in Vermont Information Processing (VIP) Beverage Software
