High Rise Beverage Company is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our growing org and team. The ideal candidate has a passion for all things social media, and is perceptive, collaborative, scrappy, and nimble with strong brand, creative, strategic and consumer marketing, and analytic instincts, keeps an eye on trends in the social media space and is able to strategize and execute towards them accordingly; and loves creating experiences and engagement through unique and compelling content and interaction.  And being a creative thinker this role must always seek new and innovative ways to approach issues and opportunities to find the best solutions.
 
This position will play a crucial role in supporting the digital and social media strategy and agenda by actively contributing to content creation, community management, and data analysis, thereby growing our overall social media presence, engagement, brand awareness, in-market product sales, and ecommerce business. 

 Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in driving and growing our social media accounts by implementing strategies and tactics that enhance our brand visibility, grow our following, engage with our target audience, and drive customer acquisition and loyalty through strategic organic social media campaigns. Primary responsibilities include content creation, community engagement, project coordination, influencer coordination, supporting paid social media intiatives, and data analysis and reporting.

 Primary Responsibilities
 Content Creation and Execution:
  • Develop and execute creative content strategies and calendar for our social media accounts, including but not limited to Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and LinkedIn 
  • Create, post, and nurture compelling and visually appealing organic content aligned with brand guidelines, industry/consumer trends, compliance regulations, platform content guidelines and consumer preferences to grow audience and build our digital community. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization and with outside agencies to ensure paid content is consistently supporting company goals and accurately representing brand identities across all channels. 
  • Utilize multimedia formats (images, videos, GIFs) to maximize engagement and reach. 
  • Coordinate with agencies and maintain relationships with creators to ideate and conceptualize briefs for influencer activations and creator-generated content.
  • Ability to take direction from Marketing leadership with the flexibility to conceptualize and execute deliverables that require a quick turnaround. 
     
Community Management
  • Actively engage with our social media community, and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally seven days a week.
  • Leverage and drive UGC; repost tagged content to accounts' stories daily.
  • Foster positive relationships with followers, influencers, and industry partners, representing our brand as a knowledgeable and approachable resource. 
  • Form relationships with High Rise employees and staff to generate excitement about our social media channels, and create content with them for storytelling based on our Brand DNA and why we “High Rise”
  • Monitor and report on trends, discussions, feedback, and sentiment within the cannabis community, providing valuable insights to the team to integrate these learnings into our content.
  • Build community online by finding relevant accounts to interact with regularly.
Data Analysis And Reporting
  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and follower growth.
  • Compile regular reports detailing campaign performance, audience demographics, and social media trends, and present actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Plan and monitor high-priority social media campaigns and projects to stay organized and informed of how our content and strategies are performing. 
  • Post links to social content in Slack, our internal communication platform, to encourage employee engagement.
  • Actively report on social listening from Reddit and other sources about High Rise and our Brands, then summarize and communicate the learnings to key stakeholders weekly.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media management and content creation.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • General understanding of marketing, marketing strategy, and brand strategy and the ability to tie social media execution to those strategies
  • Strong understanding of target consumers and customers (shoppers)
  • Strong understanding of the beverage industry, including regulations, trends, and consumer preferences preferred, as well as understanding of the cannabis industry 
  • CPG experience, and/or ecomm experience a plus, cannabis industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing social media accounts and driving engagement and growth.
  • Strong understanding of how social media and digital content contributes to overall business objectives.
  • Proficient in content creation and editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in project management platforms such as Monday.com or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt the brand voice for various target audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Meta Business) and data reporting.
  • Passionate about social media, digital marketing, and staying up to date with emerging trends and platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, pivot accordingly, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to create and foster great relationships, including both the workplace as well as with consumers (social media community / followers)
  • A creative thinker with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
  • Ability to present to other members of the team, department, and cross-functionally
  • Must have flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours to attend and support events and community management within the nearest market.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, with a whatever it takes mindset and attitude - driven to rise within our organization.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
