Position Overview:
The Distributor Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the KeHe and UNFI distributor base and key regional customers within the United States. This role will also oversee specialized channels or customers beyond the immediate geography as a vital member of the North American sales team. The successful candidate will drive revenue, volume, distribution, and profit goals while developing and executing strategic market priorities and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Distributor Management: Oversee the KeHe and UNFI distributor base, ensuring alignment with brand and business strategies. Maintain customer records and meet contact frequency goals.
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement Annual Operating Plan (AOP) priorities, gaining customer alignment with national chain plans and market strategies.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze distributor and customer performance to identify opportunities and threats. Monitor market execution through field visits and regular engagement with distributors.
- Sales Support: Provide brand and category expertise to distributors. Present brand results and strategic priorities to key contacts, negotiating pricing, promotions, and investments.
- Order and Payment Oversight: Manage customer orders, deliveries, and credit payments, acting as an escalation point from customer service and finance teams.
- Promotional Spending Management: Oversee customer forecasts and promotional spending to meet sales goals through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and production teams to ensure customer expectations are met and that inventory levels remain sufficient.

Reporting and Administration: Produce monthly reports on progress against goals and budgets, ensuring all administrative duties are managed effectively.
Key Skill Requirements and Experiences:
Minimum 10 years of multi-channel sales experience in grocery, mass retail, food service/on-premise, and impulse industries.
- Established relationships with KeHe and UNFI distributors
- Experience working with brokers and in the non-alc beverage segment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and skilled in data analysis using Excel, Power BI, and sales dashboards.
- Strong negotiation skills and an elevated level of analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation:
Base Salary range of $100,000-$125,000 DOE, plus bonus
We offer a flexible benefits package that currently includes health care, dental care, vision care, life
insurance and disability plans. Subject to the specific terms and conditions of the respective plans, you
will be eligible to participate in such benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of active
employment. The company currently pays 100% of the employees’ portion of the monthly premium for
dental, and vision insurance. The company will also cover all or a portion of your Health Insurance
premiums, based on the policy selected. Employees can insure their eligible dependents at an additional
Cost.
We offer a 401(k) Retirement Plan with matching employer contributions of 25% of the first 6% of your
compensation, which is deferred as an elective deferral. The 401(k)-company match is 100% vested
immediately. You are eligible to participate in the plan on the 1st of the month after completing six (6)
months of continuous employment.
Paid time off benefits covering holidays, sick pay, and vacation, as provided in Vilore’s policies. You will
be eligible for two (2) weeks of PTO, accrued monthly, and three (3) weeks’ PTO after three (3) years of
employment, and finally with your 10th year of employment you will accrue (4) weeks of vacation. You are
eligible to carry over 40 hours of PTO from one year to the next.
