Distribution Manager- East Coast

We're looking for a driven Distributor Sales Manager to champion our brand across assigned territories. You'll partner with key distributors and regional customers, overseeing PBC & non-PBC channels. Think strategic planning, market domination, and driving profitability - all while collaborating with our North American team.

The Distributor Sales Manager is responsible for managing the PBC & non-PBC distributor base & key regional customers in their geographic territory.  Each sales manager may also oversee specialized channels or customers beyond that geography as a key member of the North American team.  The sales manager will manage these by achieving defined revenue, volume, distribution, and profit goals. Develops and delivers market strategic priorities, key initiatives, new items and goals across existing and new markets. Champions their markets to the Executive and board. Supports cross-functional initiatives. 

Keep appropriate customer records ensuring customers align to and engage with our brand and business strategy. Ensuring customer contact matrix frequency goals are achieved. 

Implement AOP priorities and plans with the customer base. Gaining customer alignment to national chain plans.

Analyse customer & distributor performance and define opportunities, and threats.

Oversee customer orders, delivery, and credit payments – as an escalation from the customer service / Finance team.  | In coordination with NSM - USA and Finance teams.  | Revenue, Volume, Operating Budget spendInternal relationships

Oversee customer forecast & promotional spends needed to achieve the forecast through the IBP process. 

Present brand results, priorities and plans to key contacts. Providing distributors with brand and category support as a ‘subject matter expert.’

Conduct field visits to monitor market execution. Supporting distributors regularly via key and retail chain account calls. Ensuring distributors grow distribution. 

Negotiates pricing, promotions, and investments with customers & distributors. Report on customer meetings. | 100% Authority | Sales Targets

Manage all aspects of administration duties including but not limited to producing monthly reports on progress vs goals, budget In coordination with NSM -USA and Finance partners | P&L Sales TargetsFinance

Work across internal functions (logistics, supply chain, and Production) within the business to ensure that customer expectations are matched to the business capably to deliver. Ensuring customers have sufficient inventory at all times. – direct and via Pepsi.

Key Skill Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years Multi-Channel Sales experience in the Grocery, Mass, Foodservice/ On Premise, and Impulse industries
  • Experience with Pepsi Distributors or Pepsi Bottling Distributors a plus
  • Extremely Strong communication skills – written and verbal. 
  • Proficient IT literacy – Microsoft Office. 
  • Data Analysis experience in Excel, Power BI, Sales Dashboards, etc…
  • Driver’s license 
  • Elevated level of negotiation skills 
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Ideal candidate is based on the East Coast near a major airport. 
  • Travel is roughly 30% as needed.
