About The Position
Distinguished scotch brand is seeking experienced Brand Ambassador in the NY market. BA will be responsible for brand building, activation, consumer engagement, influencer management and trade advocacy.
The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for brand building activation, consumer engagement, influencer management and trade advocacy primarily in the NY market. The role serves to build and cultivate a critical mass of passionate advocates for the brand while driving call, share of conversation and ultimately break-out growth. The Brand Ambassador role is central to the brand’s consumer engagement platform (CEP) and thus the candidate must interface with all stakeholders and play a role in all brand initiatives in the marketplace.  Key qualifications will be knowledge of category, ability to engage with consumers and trade experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
 
Educate and Inspire:
• Serve as the face of the brand – a Single Malt Scotch whisky brand in the super-premium spirits space 
• Provide engaging, educational and entertaining presentations at non-premise consumer events 
• Provide support through education, event execution and frequent presence in the on and off-premise 
• Provide support through distributor and local team ‘work withs’ 
• Provide disruptive thinking with localized idea-generation and constant optimization mindset 
• Recruitment for key brand trade and consumer events 
• Manage leads and scheduling for non-premise consumer events 
• Create and maintain relationships with key market stakeholders; PR contacts, potential event hosts among target community, local trade community, distributor partners, and other local partners 
 
Engage and Influence:
• Establish key strategic partnerships on a local level that resonate with the brand consumer engagement platform 
• Act as brand spokesperson in all local PR opportunities 
• Drive traffic to brand digital eco-system through QR-based technology 
• Host strategic partnership events on a quarterly basis 
• Social media maven – increase network and posts that align with brand consumer engagement platform 
• Establish a network of key trade partners and brand advocates 
• In market expert
