About The Position
Job Overview
The position is responsible for the promotion and sale to key accounts as well as the animation and management of local distributors and reports into a Region Director. Territory covers several states including South California. The Company’s name will be revealed to qualified candidates after their initial interview

Responsibilities and Duties
Actively promote and sale the Company’s wine portfolio to local key accounts (on premise, off premise, and regional chains). 
With local accounts, open new accounts, establish Embassy accounts where Company’s brands are heavily featured, seek BTG and BTB opportunities in bars and restaurants, educate and train all key customers.
Support the local distributors in the territory. Work with local distributors to close all sales opportunities. Set-up work-with, training of the sales teams, attend trade shows, etc.. 
Develop programs towards consumers in local markets (wine maker diners, tastings, etc..) 
Send monthly report (depletions, account sold, etc..) to management with information and comments on accounts visited, ride with, trainings, opportunities/issues, etc.. 
Set regular business reviews with local distributors. 
Provide regular information relating to changes with competitive environment, new products, importer, distributor and route to market, etc. 
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor degree in business or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the wine and spirits industry with supplier or distributor.  An experience with chains is a plus. 
Strong sales and negotiation skills. 
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on key initiatives.
Strong analytical skills, with aptitude for numbers and spreadsheet, extremely detail-oriented.
Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently.

Compensation (salary and bonus) commensurate with experience.
