JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving growth through our distributor partners, engaging consumers to build brand awareness in designated markets and managing all marketplace activities.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
●       Plan and execute effective sales calls
●       Develop strong relationships with key accounts across the territory
●       Drive distribution and display activity, merchandise accounts, sell in and build displays
●       Open new accounts within the market
●       Work with grocery, convenience and UDS accounts within the market
●       Coordinate sales efforts with distributor to ensure implementation of sales strategy and marketing programs
●       Execute proper brand standards at retail and events
●       Work with the distributor network to coordinate and execute a broad range of activities such as product training, tastings, promotions, events, and work-withs
●       Organize and manage promotions and events to drive awareness
●       Obtain results by effectively utilizing resources and budget provided
●       Build mutually beneficial relationships with distributors, retailers, and influencers to grow sales and awareness
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
●       Reside in Arizona
●       Ability to travel the state and border states when necessary figuring on 5-7 days of overnight travel per month
●       At least 2 years’ business/sales experience in the CPG industry
●       BA/BS preferred
●       Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
●       Experience working with key chain and independent accounts in market area
●       Ability to work independently
●       Experience in identifying and executing events, festivals, tastings, and promotions
●       Ability to problem solve and an inner drive to succeed
●       Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as an ability to learn other technology to complete sales calls and recaps
