Role Overview

As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) at Ryl Tea, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your assigned region. You’ll lead and manage distributor relationships, oversee key accounts, and support internal and external sales teams to ensure execution excellence. Your role will be pivotal in expanding Ryl Tea’s footprint in retail and foodservice channels.

Key Responsibilities

Distributor & Retailer Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional distributors to drive sales growth.
  • Ensure distributors are executing sales plans and delivering against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide ongoing sales training, support, and motivation to distributor teams.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors as needed.
Key Account Management

  • Lead and grow relationships with key regional accounts (grocery, convenience, natural, and foodservice).
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase velocity and maximize shelf presence.
  • Work closely with buyers and category managers to secure promotional opportunities and new placements.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to track performance and opportunities.
Internal & External Team Leadership

  • Manage and support internal Ryl Tea sales representatives within the region.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align sales initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Provide field insights to inform pricing, promotions, and product innovation.
  • Represent Ryl Tea at industry events, trade shows, and distributor meetings.
Who You Are

  • Experienced: 5+ years in beverage sales, CPG, or a related field, with experience managing distributors and key accounts.
  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to drive sales growth, meet revenue targets, and manage budgets effectively.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and create impactful sales strategies.
  • Relationship Builder: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Highly Organized: Ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying detail-oriented.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Willing to Travel: Ability to travel within the region as needed (~50% travel).
