What You Need To Know

Overview

The Coastal Pacific Wine & Spirits (CPWS) Sales Analyst Manager is responsible for recapping market data, managing CPWS & competitive pricing models and recapping market performance for PA, NH, ME and VT.  The individual is responsible for communicating to the CPWS sales force the monthly priorities, posting of monthly display and distribution goals, developing target lists.  The Sales Analyst also tracks budgets and supports QBR/BPM preparation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Trax and Go Spot Check administration including: creating and/or running reports, creating and/or cascading goals, account and territory management, staff training and more
  • Distribution of monthly sales reports from internal and external sources ensuring data integrity and ease of use, align brands with suppliers
  • Work with sales teams to prepare commercial analysis that recaps business performance by trade channel and sales inputs
  • Update master records to define customer account segmentation
  • Work with external and internal groups to assist in the development and data entry into several processes
  • Create daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly pricing reports and analysis
  • Run standard and ad hoc reports for business and supplier needs
  • Assist in the preparation of sales goals
  • Increase general sales productivity through data collection and analysis
  • Proactively analyze and rank teams and sales reps that fail to deliver minimal standards
  • Proactively identify potential brand risks and opportunities.
  • Recap incentive programs, performance goals, and volume goals
  • Daily, Weekly & Monthly performance reporting
  • Develop, maintain, distribute, and provide training for cutting edge, sales support business tools
  • Posting of monthly brand priorities & quotas/Incentive trackers
  • Competitive Pricing analysis & completion of monthly competitive pricing report

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Preferred Credentials:

  • Adaptable and able to assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types
  • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification in Excel
  • Expert knowledge of Excel Power Query and PowerPivot (Power BI tools)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, or Accounting, or 3-5 years equivalent relevant experience
  • Possess the ability to perform complicated analysis like forecasting, regression, and cannibalization
  • Possess strong problem solving skills to address frequent and random changes
  • Impeccable organization and time management skills to handle multiple projects successfully
  • Possess strong decision making abilities to provide sound judgment in a wide variety of complex business matters
  • Proficient at calculating commissions, percentages, and reviewing comparative sales data for analysis
  • Expert in Excel with regards to Data Management, Reporting, and Data Analysis.  Experience with Excel Power Query, PowerPivot, and relational databases is strongly desired
  • Experience within consumer products or beverage alcohol industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
