Data Analyst


We are looking for an exceptional data analyst to join our commercial organization and support our key business initiatives across the organization. This role will improve our go-to-market capabilities, support development of the new business model and enhance our operating efficiencies. This role is necessarily cross-functional and will include interaction with the company's leadership team.


This position does not have direct reports or supervisory responsibility for any employee.


The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform text mining and web scraping from large public datasets to extract useful information in model creation and validation.
  • Import, clean, manipulate and analyze large volume of data and communicate findings through visuals, data tables and models
  • Perform a broad range of tasks that consist of researching, establishing and updating pricing models for business products and services.
  • Considerable experience in solving business problems and can provide ad hoc analysis for management.
  • Experience or exposure to pricing models and revenue data management.
  • Independently develop new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures as necessary.
  • Engage and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage projects to successfully meet business requirements
  • Execute required change management activities including training and communications
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Qualifications - External

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning or related field
  • Strong analytical and data processing skills (Phython/SQL/Excel)
  • Knowledge of VB/Excel Macros, Tableau, web scraping tools
  • Self-starter, results-driven attitude with a great desire to learn and ability to multitask and think outside the box
  • Ability to explain technical concepts (programming/databases/stats) to non-technical audience
