About The Position

We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager based in Southern California to join our growing team at Sound. As our Regional Sales Manger, you'll manage our business throughout the West Coast – calling on key accounts, managing distribution and broker relationships, and Area Sales Managers within the market. You'll work closely with our founding team to develop growth and go to market strategies to strengthen relationships, increase distribution and improve account-level velocity. This includes development of annual forecasts, budgets, and overall sales plan to support business objectives as we build Sound into the leading sparkling beverage brand on the market.

What you’ll do:
  • Execute short and long-term sales objectives and strategies for market
  • Build winning relationships with the retailers, brokers, distributor teams and category managers to ensure top notch execution and continued growth
  • Establish and manage key customer relationships in the market
  • Manage Areas Sales Managers to drive new door growth, increased in-store presence and improved sales velocity
  • Work in the field with distributor personnel and internal sales reps to train, coach, and support selling efforts
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement or new opportunities among your customers, and take action across distribution, price optimization, product placement, and promotional effectiveness

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sales management within CPG, ideally at Food or Beverage company
  • Successful track record in acquiring new grocery accounts, expanding into new markets and improving velocity per store
  • Experience managing field sales teams and working with both broadline and DSD distribution networks
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, highly resourceful, strong analytical skills, collaborative and self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel periodically
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
