We're looking for an Area Sales Manager in the San Francisco CA market to join our growing team at Sound. We’re looking for someone who has sales experience (ideally within the beverage industry), and who’s willing to wear many hats in growing our business in the market. You’ll work directly with our DSD Distributor (Good Stuff), UNFI, KeHE and other distribution partners in the area to support existing accounts and aggressively pursue new ones as we build Sound into the leading sparkling beverage brand on the market.
What you’ll do:
Manage and expand Sound’s sales in the SF Bay Area in coordination with our distribution and merchandising partners.
Be Sound’s feet on the street in the market and conduct frequent route-rides with our DSD Distributor (Good Stuff).
Maximize Sound’s in-store presence via shelf merchandising, placement of product displays/case stacks and POS.
Track, analyze and optimize sales traction in the area to meet established KPIs.
Participate in field marketing initiatives as needed within the market.
Experience in consumer product sales, ideally at a beverage company
Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor in working with co-workers, distributors, retail reps and consumer
Ability to formulate account strategies and execute against them
A general understanding of product pricing, margin structure and promotional strategy
Entrepreneurially minded and willing to take on tasks outside of the expected roles and responsibilities
Ability to use basic features in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
A passion for health and wellness, and the Sound brand values and product characteristics
A valid driver's license.
