Seeking a confident and passionate spirits educator.   Responsible for the California market working closey with the Argonaut and Germain-Robin brand team. This role will be a consumer facing brand expert with DTC sales responsibilities.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in alcohol beverage, luxury brand sales, bartending/mixology. Main responsibilities will include whiskey club outreach/execution of tasting events, planning and executing at whiskey festivals, building out a prosumer direct sales database, source leads for corporate events/gifting opportunities around holidays and partner with sales team to plan and execute at key on-premise accounts. 
 
Essential Functions: 
  • Must live in California (Bay Area, LA or San Diego) and able to travel easily to other markets in CA
  • Lead Whiskey Festival activation planning and execution
  • Build database of spirits “prosumers” for direct sales in CA
  • Source leads for corporate events and gifting opportunities around key holidays
  • Partner with sales to plan and execute consumer events at key On Premise accounts – e.g. Golf Courses
  • Manage workflow for all events, tasting activities and programming
  • Act as informed resource for consumers regarding brandy-making process, individual expressions, availability of products and brand intrinsics
  • Describe brandy, brandy-making techniques, and CA brandy history with expertise
  • Understands and effectively communicate the brand messaging
  • Ensure all events/tastings are “best in industry” for each guest
  • Promote the sale of brandy expressions to targeted guests
  • Represent the company and brand, professionally, graciously and enthusiastically
  • Multi-task with a focus on details and switches gears quick
  •  Participate in required calls with brand and agency partner team members
  • Provide reports detailing activations, experiences, etc. with supporting photographs to required team members
  • Increases brandy sales and promotes overall trade/consumer engagement
  • Develop, maintain and assure adherence to budget requirements and submit expense reports as needed
  • Balance planning efforts with day-to-day demands
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.
