JOB TITLE: National Sales Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The National Sales Manager’s main role is to drive sales and manage the execution of standards through the Sales team, Distributor Partners, and Chain accounts.  The Director of Sales will work with all Distributor Partners and Sub-Distribution Networks to track the performance of the company and drive all key programming initiatives. The Director of Sales will work daily with their Marketing Counterparts to ensure successful all-around programming.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Manage and drive key Sales and Marketing initiatives 
  • Work with the Distribution Network to track and measure goals and programs nationally and at the local level
  • Ensure that proper Brand standards and Trade standards are worked on in the market and achieved
  • Follow the progress of the sales team against expected goals and plans 
  • Sales Development
  • Manage Regional Sales Managers
  • Work with National/Regional account managers 
  • Manage expectations of brand standard 
  • Open Regional chains/ Key Account Management
  • Analysis / ROI 
  • Sales Programming
  • Staffing, Training, and Development 
  • Manage expectations of Brand standards
  • Conduct webinar conference calls
  • Sales Surveys / Market Visits (travel required) 
  • Develop and Manage Distributor Network
  • Top Level Distributor Management 
  • Conduct Distributor Meetings/Reviews
  • Distributor Management Trainings
  • Business Planning (branch specific) 
  • Planning/executing crew drives/blitzes 
  • Budget Management 
  • Inventory Management 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Education: 
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing or other related field
Experience: 
  • 3-5 years of sales management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Experience in leading sales staff; Performed functions of training, developing, coaching, disciplining and conducting performance reviews with subordinates. 
  • Ability to analyze and interpret general and financial business reports; Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. 
  • Experience and knowledge of customer service processes and operations 
  • Ability to solve practical problems deal with a variety of situations and conclude with a resolution 
  • Must be able to travel 

Compensation:
  • Annual base salary plus commission 
  • Gas card provided 
  • 2 weeks paid vacation and holidays 

Requirements: 
  • Valid Class C driver's license with reliable transportation and good driving record
  • Valid work authorization 
  • Being bilingual is a plus
