JOB TITLE: On-Premise Fine Wine & Spirits Sales Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
  • Report directly to the Managing Partner of the Company 
  • Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
  • Service existing accounts by maintaining positive business and customer relationships 
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports weekly 
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and merchandising techniques 
  • Conduct Wine and Spirits tastings for clients while providing education on wine varietals, production, and characteristics 
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Qualifications: 
  • Must have 3-5 years of trade alcohol beverage experience
  • Product knowledge with a high level of industry knowledge 
  • Goal Oriented, focused, and an assertive individual who needs little direction or supervision and can work independently 
  • Highly motivated personality and target-driven with a proven sales track record to meet sales goals
  • Excellent presenting, selling, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to adapt and assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personality types
  • Stay apprised of federal, state, and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibility
Compensation:
  • Annual base salary plus commission 
  • Fuel card provided 
  • Paid vacation and holidays 
Requirements: 
  • Valid Class C driver's license with reliable transportation and good driving record
  • Valid work authorization 
  • Being bilingual is a plus
  • Must be able to walk, bend, reach and lift 30 lbs or more
  • Stock / restock displays and/or shelves with products
