According to Nielsen’s 2015 Global Trust in Advertising Report, 83 percent of survey respondents said they are more convinced by the recommendations made to them by those they know and trust over recommendations made through traditional advertising. As a result, more and more companies are turning toward brand ambassadors to help attract loyal consumers.
