As both a retailer and an auction house, Zachys provides an international clientele with some of the rarest wines in the world. Join a close-knit, dynamic team as they put together over 50 sales annually all over the globe and learn from some of the leading wine experts in the market. Zachys is hiring for a position on its Private Client Services Team. This fast-paced and dynamic group is responsible for working with clients on an individual level and managing some of the most important relationships in the business. 

The positions will be located in our new facility in Port Chester, NY.    

Private Client Services:  Junior Account Manager
  • Sales expectations for Account Manager: $1.5M-$2.9M
  • Primary Functions:
  • Manage relationships and drive outbound sales by working with clients on an individual basis across retail, storage, and auction
  • Share passion and knowledge of wine through curated content
  • Interact with clients at events, tastings, and auctions. 
  • Light travel is required. 
  • Weekends and occasional evenings are required. 
Other Functions:

  • Available for inbound phone calls and emails from customers needing assistance with new and existing orders
  • Support store functions, including sales on the floor
  • Participate in Web Sales Outreach Program Assist with Special Projects 
  • Attend Industry Events and Tastings as Continuing Education

Qualifications:
  • Account Managers should have 1+ years of experience in the Wine Industry. 
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for customer service and providing an exceptional buying/selling experience
  • Strong team player with a dynamic personality and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Certifications from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust, Society of Wine Educators, and/or Court of Master Sommeliers, not required but preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, not required but preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, not required but preferred
