Field Sales Manager

The On Premise Field Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving volume and distribution goals. This role will be responsible for expanding market share, maximizing distribution, and be the main point of contact for both new and existing on-premise accounts within the designated territory. 

Tropeka Tropical Drink Mixes looking to expand its Florida salesforce with a Field Sales Manager in the South Florida area as part of on going expansion. This opportunity is great for someone looking to accelerate their sales career within a fast-paced, high-growth industry and will have a direct impact on the success of the company. 

Primary responsibilities for the Field Sales Manager include: 

• Develop growth plans within your territory and expand our current footprint of accounts purchasing, while driving results that deliver market share growth.
• Plan and implement programs to deliver distribution, sales directives, and volume goals.
• Develop positive, credible, long lasting customer relationships based on trust with assigned customers, through understanding their key needs and requirements. 
• Serve as the communication lead between key customers, distributor representation, and internal teams. 
• Monitor agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) within the territory. 
• Support distributors and internal teams with brand building, programming, and distribution activities with customers. 
• Regularly and consistently pre-plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities.
• Visit accounts regularly, capture visit notes, and build visit plans considering previous visit outcomes and document.
• Maintain deep knowledge of full portfolio and correctly present them in each account
• Propose selling solutions to each customer and win the sale using consultative selling skills
• Achieve internal objectives as prioritized by management
• Adapt the selling approach based on each customer’s buying styles and individual business needs.
• Be knowledgeable and experienced in all accounts staying current with what competitors are offering.
• Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and events as required



Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience. (preferably in Beverage) 
• Able to analyze and understand data and information
• Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals
• Able to communicate effectively through various methods and express self clearly and concisely while appropriately tailoring the message to the audience
• Team player; works collaboratively with others
• Able to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Able to maintain a valid and current driver’s license

Physical Demands
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• May require lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 60lbs
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends an occasional overnights) 
• Willingness to travel 
• Candidate must reside within the territory 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Minimum 2 years sales experience (preferably On Premise) 
• Market development and sales analysis experience 
• Strong ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results 
• Experience building customer relationships
• Experience with frozen drink equipment a plus (Blenders, Shavers, Machines)
