Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with key distributor personnel and retail accounts.
  • Execute shelf resets and ensure proper product placement and merchandising
  • Conduct store checks to monitor inventory levels, product placement, pricing, and point of sales materials
  • Build relationships with store managers and key decision makers
  • Set up promotional displays and implement marketing programs at store level
  • Track and report on competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies
  • Maintain planogram compliance and optimize shelf space
  • Achieve sales goals and KPIs outlined for the territory.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • 0-2 years of experience; retail or customer service experience is a plus
  • Strong interest in consumer goods industry and retail operations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Physical ability to handle product demonstrations and merchandising
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for product merchandising
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn retail analytics tools

Day in the Life

  • Visit 10-15 retail locations daily (approximately, based on travel)
  • Meet with store managers to introduce new items and discuss product performance
  • Set up promotional displays and ensure proper merchandising
  • Update CRM with store visit notes and action items
  • Coordinate with distributor partner on inventory needs and new placements
  • End your day recapping your success, planning next store visits and reviewing sales data
Travel & Work Hours

  • Specific territory is upstate, spanning the entire state of NY excluding Westchester, Metro NY and Long Island. Candidate is expected to live within the territory, ideally north of Westchester County.
  • Candidate is expected to work Monday-Friday during business hours of our retail partners and distribution partners. They may be required on occasion to travel on weekends prior to work week if the business calls for it.
  • Depending on home location of candidate, regular overnight stays may be required to cover territory. Candidate will work with direct supervisor to develop a balanced travel schedule to suit both the business and employees needs.
