Based in New York, we partner with restaurants, venues, bartenders and artists from around the world to foster the education around sotol, which is arguably the most exciting new liquor category of the moment.


We are proud to offer the New York Area Manager position for Cardenxe Sotol

Description
This is a Sales Manager position, which entails coordinating tactics in order to best tackle each different sales channel. 

Passion and excitement to build from the ground up is key.

The big opportunity here is to be at the forefront of a movement, since we are building the new exciting category that is sotol. 

We're looking for someone that is forward thinking, driven and dedicated, who is excited at the prospect of growing within the Cardenxe startup environment.

Compensation
$ 60 - 70k + Bonus

Quarterly review

Scope of Work

- Manage relationship with distributor sales reps
- Organize 2 - 4 market visit ('workwith') per month with distributor sales reps
- Pitch 10 new on-premise accounts per week
- Pitch 5 new off-premise accounts per week
- Visit 5 existing key accounts per week and develop relationship with key people
- Organize a minimum of 1 in-store tastings per month
- Timely weekly reporting of sales and account visits 
- Cover territory of New York City and Long Island

KPIs
- Open 180 New Accounts in the first year
- Gain 50 Menu Placements in the first year
- Open 10 Hospitality or Hotel Group in the first year

Qualifications
- Must be based in New York area
- Must have previous sales experience (not necessarily alcohol related)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Must be flexible and able to easily adapt to changes
- Positive attitude and a passion for the wine and spirits industry
- Entrepreneurial drive; must be motivated to work independently
- General computer knowledge with a focus on Excel and Powerpoint, which will be needed for reporting
