Job Description

Title: Brand Director-Multicultural Marketing
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Department: Marketing
Reports to: SVP of Marketing
Salary: $140,000-$170,000 + bonus

Job Summary:

The Brand Director-MulticulturalMarketing will play a key role in expanding BeatBox's reach within Latino and Hispanic communities. This role is critical to advancing our brand's tone, messaging and presence in multicultural markets while overseeing international growth in key regions like Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. Additionally, the Brand Director will lead initiatives to target Latino and Hispanic customers through the launch of new brands and innovations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but may in the future.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Multicultural Marketing Strategy:
  • Develop and execute marketing plans to increase brand awareness and engagement within Latino and Hispanic communities.
  • Identify and secure event sponsorships, influencer partnerships, and marketing programs tailored to multicultural audiences.
  • Shape BeatBox's tone and messaging to resonate authentically with new audiences while staying true to our brand DNA.

International Brand Expansion:
  • Lead strategies for brand growth in Mexico, Caribbean Islands, and Central America.
  • Work closely with distribution and retail partners to ensure successful launches and sustained growth in these regions.
  • Adapt marketing strategies to align with cultural nuances and consumer preferences in each region.

Innovation and New Brand Development:
  • Collaborate with R&D and marketing teams to conceptualize and launch new products and brands targeting Latino and Hispanic consumers.
  • Leverage insights and trends from multicultural markets to inform innovation and product positioning.
  • Act as a champion for cultural relevance in all aspects of product development, packaging, and branding.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with internal teams, including Sales,Field Marketing, and Creative, to align multicultural marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Serve as key advisor on multicultural marketing trends and best practices.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns for multicultural audiences.
  • Strong Understanding of Latino and Hispanic culture, trends and consumer behavior.
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills
  • Passion for creativity, innovation, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in international marketing, particularly in Mexico, the Caribbean, or Central America is a plus.
  • 7+ years experience in brand management, multicultural marketing, or a related field with a focus on Latino and Hispanic markets.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
