Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Global Logistics & Support Specialist is responsible for global sales support, order processing, and providing excellent customer service for global customers. This includes daily coordination between customers, sales, production, finance, and global support partners to manage the order to delivery fulfillment process that meets customers' requirements.

  • Utilize CDS to determine training needs and identify curriculum, programs and content to prepare for career opportunities within the company. Provide feedback to manager regarding on the job learning opportunities. Work with manager to determine growth potential and outline a plan for possible long term career moves.
  • Work with manager to identify skill development needs. Create and execute a plan for improving at least one skill area each year.
  • Manage global customer orders from order receipt to customer delivery. Maintains communication throughout the supply chain. Meets customer requested dates. Resolves PO issues on a daily basis. Provide high customer service level while developing and strengthening customer relationships. Process shipment documents as needed.
  • Prepare flowcharts, related SOPs and work instructions which outlines the steps necessary for global order processing: provide detail step-by-step actions and computer screen shots describing the entire process from order receipt to the delivery of goods to their final destination. Being the liaison between customers, Sazerac quality, sales, compliance team, and government entities to ensure proper customs clearance resolution for global customer orders.
Qualifications/Requirements:
MUST
  • 5+ years relevant experience (minimum)
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ years experience in Customer Service or Consumer Affairs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
  • Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Customer service/Customer focus with strong attention to details
  • Strong problem solving skills

Experiences:
  • Global logistics
  • Customer facing roles
  • Operations: Quality or Planning background

PREFERRED
  • Experience in Alcohol Beverage Industry or CPG overall
