WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

TEAM is hiring an experienced Key Account Manager for a national program for an established nicotine client. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships for existing national/multi-state accounts as well as building new relationships with other national hospitality groups, stadiums, concert venues and arenas. This role will require a sales manager with experience selling to accounts on the local and national level. The Key Account Manager will report to the Program Director and will assist the program at-large by sourcing new partnerships, assisting leadership with program and account development, developing contracts and assisting in the execution of events and other established programming.



WHAT YOU WILL DO

Program Development

· Deliver valuable partnerships for your client.

· Find and close on desired partnerships in a variety of business channels and industries.

· Review contracts & event proposals ensuring the right accounts are contracted for the right brands with the right terms.

· Assist local markets in identifying and securing contracts for priority hyper-relevant strategic venues that support long-term customer and adult consumer brand relationships.

· Utilize activity reports to ensure Key Accounts in all markets are being serviced accordingly. Identify areas of opportunity.

· Partner with client representatives as needed.

· Review 3rd party agency performance. Provide scheduling strategy when necessary

· Regularly review account performance against program goals and KPIs.

· Assist in establishing events and activations with partner accounts


Program Management:

· Regularly travel to market to oversee the execution of customized premium activations.

· Schedule working sessions and ride-a-longs with staff when in market.

· Provide regular trainings and workshops to ensure local teams are current with brand initiatives and objectives.

· Participate on weekly calls with Regional Managers. Gather market, event and product relevant feedback for agency and client.

· Work with Program Director, Account Director, Regional Managers on strategies and tactics to improve program performance.

· Develop and maintain activation schedules for all markets in the program.

· Work with client to resolve any supply issues.

· Help develop and oversee sales contests.

· Assist in Identification of new opportunities with unique local retailers and on-premise venues to drive sales volume and increase market penetration in defined territories.

· Manage multiple budgets for each of your assigned markets.

Consumer Activations:

· Live the brand while executing high quality customer engagements to educate, cultivate enthusiasm and build brand loyalty while adhering to all local and federal regulations.

· Comfortably converse with qualified adult consumers at on-premise accounts and venues within assigned territory to drive sales in contracted accounts on high volume nights.

· Identify event opportunities with on-premise accounts, promoters, artists for elevated experiences and culturally relevant opportunities for adult consumer events, event contracting and budget management when applicable.

· Travel to market to service accounts when needed.

· Able to lift, transport, and assemble event assets.

· Work with 3rd party agency leadership on scheduling brand ambassador events for your territory.

Administrative:

· Own all lines of communication across internal team by owning the region, amplifying strategic wins, and identifying challenges with a solution-based approach.

· Exemplify the positive attributes of being a leader and team builder with all related sales personnel, cross-functional agencies, and local/national counter parts.

· Manage market performance via internal tracking system, and effectively communicate results to identified stakeholders on a regular cadence including weekly and monthly recapping.

· Deliver on all administrative duties in a thorough and timely matter as defined and requested by upper management.

· Assist Program director in some day-to-day processes.

· Deliver on defined KPI goals related to placement, market availability, visibility, and quality of execution within critical account channels.

· Maintain accurate inventory of event assets.

· Manage strategic budgets to the penny and all local contracts garnered

· Provide market insights specific to region with urgency, ability to learn quickly and pivot smartly.

· Provide weekly, monthly and quarter reports highlighting program wins and opportunities

· Complete regular rigorous training on compliance, laws and regulation for the category and stay up to day with client and TEAM’s internal policies and procedures.


WAYS TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

· Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred.

· 5 years sales experience.

· Experience in on-premise experiential marketing. Experience in F/B, hospitality a plus. Prior experience with nicotine preferred.

· Proven track record of building relationships with an unmatched drive to succeed.

· Comfortability working non-traditional hours as-needed including nights and weekends

· Experience producing events in on-premise venues

· Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, and driven team player with the ability to solve problems, take initiative, think innovatively and make fast paced decisions with a degree of autonomy while prioritizing the best interests of the group over personal gains.

· Industry expert. Understands the product category and how to sell to account new to the category

· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· This role requires regular travel
