The Category Manager will play a key role in driving St. Dalfour's business. You will be responsible for leveraging data to create custom category selling tools, preparing category reviews, and supporting strategic initiatives that align with the company’s business objectives. You will travel to customer meetings and engage cross-functionally with other teams to develop category strategies and achieve business growth.

Please note this position can be based in Philadelphia, PA or Miami, FL

In This Role, You Will Focus On:
Category Management:
  • Support St. Dalfour’s growing presence in Grocery, Natural Independents, and Alt Channels.
  • Analyze syndicated data (SPINS, IRI, Nielsen, etc.) to create tailored insights and selling stories for key accounts.
  • Use category management tools to provide recommendations on space allocation, assortment, and planograms to improve product performance.
  • Create and present account-specific category reviews, offering detailed insights, recommendations, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop data-driven presentations that effectively communicate trends, category performance, and actionable strategies.
  • Track business performance and provide regular updates through scorecards and presentations to key internal and external stakeholders.

Special Projects & Initiatives:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement category strategies that align with St. Dalfour’s overall business goals.
  • Work closely with sales teams and leadership to support high-priority projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying new opportunities for business growth, innovation, and optimization within the categories you manage.

In This Role, You’ll Bring With You:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 3+ years of Retail Sales Category Management experience in the food and/or beverage industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods/Fast Moving Consumer Goods (CPG/FMCG) is required.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other business platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of SPINS, IRI, Nielsen, Panel Data, and Loyalty card data.
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for using data to solve business challenges.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
