Southern Glazer offers a competitive package with annual compensation of $55,000-$63,000 plus bonus. The company will evaluate education, skills, and experience to make an appropriate offer.

Overview

The Inventory/Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and measuring inventory levels by analyzing data, identifying potential shortages or excesses, and researching discrepancies. This role will identify areas for improvement, recommend improvement initiatives, and track their incorporation

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and suggest corrective actions to maintain accurate Inventory records.
  • Manage Daily Reconciliation Report, identify patterns or root causes of recurring Inventory discrepancies to recommend preventative measures.
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts by regularly counting designated Operations/Inventory items in a specific warehouse locations.
  • Investigate, research, and document any discrepancies between physical Inventory and system records, including potential causes like receiving errors, picking mistakes, or damaged goods.
  • Generate weekly and monthly Warehouse Audit and Inventory Accuracy reports
  • Assess future risk, opportunities, and effectiveness; translate results into meaningful solutions to enhance decision-making; present findings to various levels of leadership
  • Create, monitor, and maintain metrics and key performance indicators, identifying aged Inventory
  • Review data capture processes and procedures; recommend modifications to systems to ensure all relevant metrics data elements are collected as a part of the defined standard operational procedures
  • Audit and confirm the validity and accuracy of all data being reported.
  • Provide cost/benefit analysis for various projects, as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of other MS Office Suite and/or software applications related to job functions
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, presentation, and communications skills
  • Analytical and judgment skills necessary to evaluate, interpret, and reconcile accounting data and operational metrics according to the company and departmental procedures


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills - Pivot Tables, XLookups
  • Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills


Physical Demands

  • Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
