National Field Activation Manager

In your capacity as National Field Activation Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day business for the client’s spirit sampling and local market activation programming. You will supervise a large team that manages and orchestrates programming in the field across the country, as well as independent contractors and vendors to ensure best-in-class programming for our client.

You will:
  • Provide direct oversight and management of the Regional Activation Manager team which includes providing mentorship and collaboratively addressing urgent and sensitive matters that arise.
  • Champion the national Field team structure to develop and standardize comms plan, ways of working, staffing, logistics and execution processes across sampling, local market activation and local market adhoc activity.
  • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for the client’s Field Marketing Director for all Field related activity and status updates.  
  • Liaison with internal Client Services team and other key agency stakeholders to facilitate HQ-led programming.
  • Assist with recruitment and training of Regional Activation Managers (when applicable).
  • Ongoing evaluation of Field processes and recommendations for enhanced ways of working.
  • Senior oversight of national programming performance.

What Cool Things You Bring to the Table:
  • 8+ years combined relative industry experience – Field Marketing, Mass Sampling Program, and Experiential Marketing agency roles.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in managing subordinate managers and professionals in a large group servicing day-to-day business is mandatory.
  • Prior spirits experience with a strong understanding of legal compliance is mandatory.
  • Ability to input and implement strategic decisions – long and short term to continually elevate offerings while being responsive to client feedback and trends.
  • Previous national ambassador management experience is a plus.
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, and proactive problem solver.
  • Exceptional communication/organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Have strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Ability to travel to NYC HQ and nationally to events as necessary.
  • Based in US Northeast near major market.
