Senior Ecommerce Analytics Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr. Ecommerce Analytics Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and agencies and will create reporting metrics, dashboards, and analytics tools that offer strategic insights to leadership and support data-driven decision-making. We are seeking a candidate with strong expertise in analyzing large data sets and transforming data into actionable insights, particularly in performance marketing and omnichannel growth, to help quantify ROI and develop scalable strategies. An entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach to continuously improving our analytics framework and tools are essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate insights by crafting clear, data-driven narratives that highlight opportunities and offer recommendations to enhance business performance
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and create best-in-class measurement frameworks for assessing customer engagement across all digital channels
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Director of Sales Planning and Insights to align strategies
  • Build reports and analytics tools to improve Serenity Kids’ measurement of customer acquisition, retention, feature engagement, and financial performance across product offerings
  • Program manage cross-functional initiatives that involve developing new data sources and modifying existing data infrastructure and analytics products
  • Assist DTC, Amazon, and retail media leaders with specific data requests
  • Oversee Annual Operating Plan and Sales and Operations Planning  (AOP and S&OP) processes, with a focus on ensuring forecasting accuracy
  • Build and maintain dashboards, including setting up BI tools for internal use
  • Develop and maintain a source of truth and data tech stack for digital channels, including Amazon, Retail Media Networks, (RMN), and DTC
  • Identify category trends, conduct promotional analysis, and update core customer KPIs such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and LTV
  • Undertake specialty projects and analyses as needed
  • Clean and maintain first-party data and data architecture

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience analyzing eCommerce data and providing business insights
  • 3-5 years experience in CPG
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership teams
  • Proficiency in eCommerce customer and site analytics data sets including customer journeys, conversion funnels and feature measurement, along with marketing, pricing, assortment, and fulfillment strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, or a related field with a quantitative focus strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data connections, complex formulas, and pivot tables
  • High proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of database architecture
  • Strong data visualization skills, particularly with Tableau or similar tools
  • Ability to interpret business metrics, perform complex analyses, and connect multiple data sources to explain business performance
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects independently, delivering results under tight deadlines with minimal guidance
  • Thorough understanding of financial KPIs and P&L statements
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate analyses into actionable business strategies and effectively present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a track record of delivering accurate data
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment while maintaining a commitment to quality
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
