Summary

RNDC is looking for innovative and collaborative Receptionist to join our growing team. The Receptionist operates PBX or multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel.

In this role, you will
  • Answer calls to the telephone switchboard courteously and routes callers to the correct department or associate in an efficient manner and answers general questions about the company.
  • Welcomes all on-site visitors, determines the nature of their business, pages associates as needed and monitors visitor access by issuing visitor passes when required.
  • Takes accurate messages and relays to the proper associate or department.
  • Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to the appropriate associate or transfers calls to voice mail when the appropriate associates are unavailable.
  • Receives, sorts and routes mail/faxes to the correct associates.
  • Assists Accounts Receivable department with mail-outs as needed.
  • Processes T.A.B.C. licenses as needed.
  • Be aware of which personnel has left or returned to the office.
  • Performs administrative and clerical duties as needed.

What you bring to RNDC

High school diploma; one to three months related experience, and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to work overtime. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and etc.) or the aptitude to learn • Requires the ability to operate all office equipment, especially multi-line telephonic systems

  • Strong knowledge of supplier and distribution tiers of the Wine & Spirits industry.
  • Industry certifications (WSET, CSW, CSS, CSP) a plus.
