Role Overview

This role demands a proactive, self-starting manager who can manage multiple stakeholder relationships while keeping a firm grasp on the strategic direction and operational details of the brand's growth efforts. The Digital Marketing Manager will ensure that all external relationships are fully engaged into RationAle’s strategy, enhancing the brand’s reach and impact in the non-alcoholic craft brew market.

Job Responsibilities
 
In this role, you will develop and execute the integrated digital marketing plans aimed at reaching and connecting with consumers. You will report into our Marketing Director, and be responsible for managing and growing our social and digital channels as well as our DTC sales. In addition to bringing a kick ass, can do attitude to work every day, the expectations of the role include, but are not limited to:
  • Strategy & Planning
  • Lead overall digital / social strategy and content planning across owned channels (Social, Web, Email, SEO) and paid channels (Search, Paid Social)
  • Monitor and optimize content, and provide quarterly reports against KPIs
  • Stay up to date on category/consumer trends and technology advancements to continually refine and adapt our marketing efforts 

  • Content Development
  • Direct designer and any content creators on visual assets
  • Execute simple content visuals
  • Collaborate with sales org and leadership team to leverage company operations within digital space
  • Write copy for all content ensuring all messaging is consistent with brand voice and channel objectives

  • Community Building (Online & Offline)
  • Conduct ongoing Community Engagement across social channels
  • Approximately 10-20% of the time, you’ll be attending various Community Events and helping build the brand.  These events do take place on various weekends throughout the year, as well as evenings.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of Marketing experience, preferably in within the beverage (craft beer, wine, spirits, adult beverage) industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with our customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with data analysis 
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
  • Previous experience working with digital marketing platforms (i.e. Shopify, Klaviyo  Google Analytics, Search, Meta)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Graphic design and video editing skills not required but preferred 
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
  • Ability to work weekend shifts with extended hours on an as needed basis

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday within a fast paced environment, must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position. 
  • Must be able to push, pull, move and lift a minimum of 75 lbs. 
  • Must be able to bend, twist, squat, kneel and reach repeatedly throughout the day. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • This position requires travel 10-20% of the time.
Location
  • Primarily remote role, but prefer the candidate to be based in Southern California
