Role Overview: 
As an Area Sales Manager at Picco Beverage Group, you'll spearhead our strategic partnerships with distributors to drive the distribution and sales of Picco Beverage's innovative THC-infused beverages. With your expertise in the non-alcoholic beverage sector and a knack for cultivating relationships, you will play a pivotal role in propelling Triple to the forefront of the burgeoning market for THC-infused drinks. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Routine Management System: Adherence to Sales Team's structured processes which includes weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings, account call frequency, samplings and special event activation. 
  • Market Presence: Spend at least 60% of your time in the field, building and nurturing relationships with distributor partners, supporting on-premise and off-premise account activation, and coaching and mentoring Field Sales Reps. 
  • Empowerment: As the leader of Field Sales Reps (FSRs), your mission is to inspire, guide, and nurture a dynamic team across diverse territories, driving unparalleled growth in distribution, sales, and revenue. 
  • Execution Excellence: Your pivotal role as an Area Sales Manager demands the precise tactical execution of our sales strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with market dynamics and customer needs, driving unparalleled success for our brand. 
  • Sales and Distribution: Secure new placements and manage the ongoing requirements of existing accounts, with a focus on expanding Triple's market share in your given territory. 
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Triple's values and ethos in every interaction, serving as a brand ambassador and educating partners and consumers about our products. While the majority of the requirements will center around sales, the position will also require you to conduct tastings and work sponsored promotional events. 
  • Work closely with local distributor partners to collaborate on goals and objectives and ensure proper product inventory and proactively manage OOS issues. 
  • Strategic Insight: Continuously analyze market trends, competitor actions, and customer insights, delivering actionable feedback to both sales and marketing teams. This proactive approach fuels agile strategy refinement and propels us ahead in the competitive landscape providing feedback to inform strategy adjustments. 
  • Achievement of Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets as set by the Head of Sales and company leadership, contributing to the overall success of the brand. 
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the sales & marketing team to refine sales tactics and strategies based on field insights.

Location:
ASM - Orlando: The ideal candidate will reside in Chicago or any of the surrounding areas and be able to effectively cover a multi-state sales territory, managing distributor relationships and supporting Field Sales Reps (FSRs).

Minimum Qualifications: 
  • 3-5 years proven experience in field sales, preferably in the beverage industry, with a track record of exceeding sales targets. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups. 
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively. 
  • Exceptional presentation skills and confidence in addressing both small gatherings and large audiences. 
  • Passionate about being at the cutting edge of the beverage industry. 
  • Must be self-motivated, with a high level of energy and the ability to work independently. 
  • Familiarity with the on-premise and of-premise account landscape in your territory is a plus. 
  • Must have a valid and un-suspended driver's license and access to a reliable automobile. 
  • Willingness to embrace technology to perform job functions. 
  • Must be willing to travel within assigned sales region.
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends to support account and special event activations, samplings, and festivals as needed. 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. 
  • Successful completion of background check upon acceptance of offer. 

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Business degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 5-7 years Beverage Alcohol or Hemp Derived THC Industry Experience (knowledge of legal framework, promotional regulations, and three-tier system). 
  • Successful experience in managing a small team of 3-8 direct reports. 
  • Proficiency using Google Workspace & Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Proficiency using CRM system, route optimization and accountability software. 
  • Familiarity with beverage industry specific tools such as Encompass and VIP systems. 
Benefits & Compensation
Base Compensation: $80000- $104000 based on experience and location
Annual Bonus:   25% based on company performance 
Monthly Commission:    20% of FSR Commission  
Car Allowance:$750 per month 
Cell Phone + Internet Allowance: $150 per month
Paid Time Off: 15 Days PTO + designated company Holidays
