The salary range for this role, based in Arkansas is $94,480.00 to $135,815.00 . The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager, People Business Partner to support our Fort Smith Operations team. This role is critical in fostering a productive and positive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and driving initiatives that align HR strategies with business goals. The Sr. Manager, People Business Partner will be a trusted advisor to leadership providing expertise in talent management, employee relations, strategic workforce planning, performance improvement and ad hoc projects.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of manufacturing operations and a proven track record of high levels of effective partnership across a cross functional team. This individual is expected to foster continuous transformation, shaping processes and culture that together improves the organization's operational effectiveness as well as its capacity for change while maintaining/enhancing employee engagement. The Sr. Manager, People Business Partner is expected to continue positive connectivity within the Fort Smith community.

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic HR Support:

  • Partner with operations leadership to understand business challenges and provide strategic HR solutions
  • Aling HR initiatives with operational goals, focusing on talent, acquisition, retention, and development
  • Develop and implement workforce plans that optimize headcount, staffing levels and labor costs
  • Champion annual organizational objective setting programs and drive understanding and compliance with the quarterly key performance processes
  • Provide business leaders with data-driven recommendations that improve organizational capability, performance, and retention
  • Lead talent and capabilities alignment to the business strategy through relationships with leadership which fosters an environment which supports their identified talent initiatives
  • Lead and support change management initiatives related to organizational restructuring, process improvements, or policy updates

  • - Employee Relations:

  • Serve as the point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
  • Promote positive workplace culture that supports diversity, equality, and inclusion
  • Ability to navigate complex and challenging situations with agility and resiliency
  • Partner with central People Relations to manage employee relations including the support of any investigations and disciplinary actions
  • Drive employee experience across organization to align with values, goals, and strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all Company, Federal and State policies/regulations as set forth across the Company through partnership with People Relations and Engagement team and the PRNA Employment Counsel

  • - Talent Management & Development:

  • Oversee recruitment efforts for operational roles, ensure a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Manage the performance management process, including coaching, feedback, and career development planning for employees in operations
  • Collaborate with training and development teams to design and implement employee development programs
  • Drive the Talent, DEI, and Culture priorities through the acquisition process

  • Skills & Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices
  • Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and workforce planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-drive approach
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.

  • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a Sr. HR role supporting operations
