We are seeking an energetic, results-driven individual to join our team as a sales analyst with a primary focus on supporting our national accounts team. This role will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, commercial strategy, and others to develop and execute our corporate strategy with strategic retail partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of compelling sales propositions in partnership with national account sales leads aimed at growing the O’Neill brand footprint and gaining meaningful promotional support and execution
  • Ongoing tracking of O’Neill brand performance in existing accounts with an emphasis on competitive benchmarking, risk assessment, and opportunity identification
  • Tracking and communication of distribution voids in retail accounts where data is available
  • Management of on-premise product mandate calendar and reporting
  • Authoring and maintenance of reporting tools tailored to the needs of direct and indirect stakeholders. Reporting applications will include both Power BI and Microsoft Excel
  • Analysis of key retailer product assortment to determine and advise on optimization and exclusive brand opportunities
  • Lead National Accounts' annual planning process
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and deploy retail marketing programs in alignment with national consumer focus periods
  • Analysis of category performance across various segmentations to identify areas of new product opportunity and brand expansion
  • Assistance with New Item paperwork for core chains
  • Ongoing tracking and management of promotional execution and optimization in partnership with trade marketing and national account leads
  • Work with brand marketing to provide data support for any customized program presentations

  • Insatiable curiosity and overall inquisitive nature.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including ability to coordinate with multiple departments
  • Strong interpersonal skills written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office 365 platform
  • Passion for creative problem solving and ability to craft data driven sales presentations.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Willing to help and support others in their work to contribute to the overall success of the company.
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where he/she can build from the ground up but there is less formal structure or processes.
  • Highly organized, and able to manage time and resources effectively.
  • Experience working with syndicated data including but not limited to Nielsen/IRI


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Alcohol beverage experience and understanding of 3-tier distribution system.
  • Experience authoring in Power BI or other data visualization application
  • Experience working with VIP depletion data


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lift, move and stack boxes up to 50 lbs
