On-Premise Sales Manager (Supporting the Suntory RTD Company)

Core Accountabilities:

•      Identify new on-premise accounts to sell-in and promote Suntory RTD Company brands in assigned territory
•      Maintain all existing accounts and grow account base 
•      Achieve or exceed volume and distribution goals in assigned territory 
•      Account pre-plan and post-review of goals and conversion rates 
•      Identify, build and maintain 25 high end and highly visible “Showcase Accounts” within assigned territory that has the following: brand listing on drink menu and/or menu board, backbar placement, drink special feature minimum 1x per quarter and point of sale visible in decision corridor
•      Conduct weekly bartender and wait-staff trainings 
•      Develop and maintain positive partnerships with key account buyers & bartenders 
•      Develop & Execute promotional events calendar to drive trial and brand awareness
•      Build strong distributor relationships to achieve a winning “Share of Mind” beyond our brand size and scale
•      Build strong on-premise customer relationships, leverage existing relationships (feels repetitive)
•      Implement strategies for menu placements and drink specials (ditto)
•      Fully understand and be able to clearly communicate features and benefits of our brands as well as competitor brands
•      Develop and maintain overall beverage alcohol and RTD/FMB category knowledge
•      Recognize competitive activity and assess impacts/opportunities for Suntory as a result
•      Preparation and timely submission of required reports
•      Manage budget to maximize effectiveness
•      Execute impactful on-premise promotions 
•      Planning and execution of trade, industry, distributor and consumer-facing events 
•      Create and maintain account files with up-to-date information 
•      Evening and weekend hours are required, field-based role with extensive driving to accounts 

Skills, Education, & Experience:

•      Bachelor’s degree, Business preferred
•      Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
•      Minimum of 2 years previous on-premise alc-bev experience
•      Existing relationships with on-premise accounts and distributor network (beer/FMB preferred)
•      Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, proof of registration and insurance 
•      Candidate must be physically able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis
•      Ability to obtain a “CA responsible beverage server” certificate
