This New Product Development & Projects Manager will be the driving force behind all packaging developments for our SirDavis brand, from dry goods materials to impactful POSM. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to quality standards, elevating supplier competence, and collaborating with Marketing to deliver compliant, on-brand point of sale material (POSM) across all markets.

This role will also develop and implement capital projects to the SirDavis facility to continuously improve the safety, efficiency and the overall cost base. Capital projects will take up ~10% of the successful candidates time.

Based in Houston, Texas.Job responsibilities

Product Development
  • Liaise between design agencies, suppliers, and internal teams for the creation of new products.
  • Review and provide feedback on supplier technical proposals, prototype, production samples and manage prototype creation.
  • Support in the creation of briefs and functional analysis for products.
  • Develop project timelines and manage tracking for both products and POSM.
  • Ensure global compliance and safety standards are met throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Liaise with warehouse and operations teams to ensure delivery and launch.

Program & Data Management:
  • Utilize and maintain key data management systems: DevSuite, PPPStore, SAP, and Iris Intertek Platform.
  • Conduct supplier audits and inspections to ensure adherence to company requirements.

Capital Project Management:
  • Identify, develop, and deliver infrastructure and capital improvement projects, focusing on efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Key focus in delivering a facility to meet current and future production volumes.
  • Lead communication and collaboration with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Financial Management:
  • Manage and monitor budgets for NPD cost centers, including forecasting, planning, and achieving financial targets.
  • Contribute to the development of budgets.
Profile

Education: Bachelor's degree required, in subject related to Packaging Development.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in New Product Development, demonstrating a strong understanding of bottling processes and dry goods manufacturing.
  • Experience with capital planning, project management, and financial management.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials and processes.
  • Good knowledge of bottling production and dry goods components.
  • Strong data management experience
