Midnight Cowboy crafts exceptional espresso martinis. We help hotels, bars, night life venues, sports and concert arenas, concert venues, restaurants, golf courses, catering companies, event venues, and every day consumers serve premium espresso martinis efficiently and cost effectively. We generate higher profits for our on-premise customers and reduce cost and time for our off-premise consumers.
We are the new category standard in premium, ready-to-drink, espresso martinis.
We are looking for someone with expertise, energy and passion to join our start up team.
Right now we need someone to lead our sales efforts, to fearlessly drive the Midnight Cowboy acquisition of on and off premise channels in select territories throughout the US. Territories currently include the West (CA, NV), the Northeast (NY, NJ, PA, MA, NH, CT), and the Southeast (FL, GA). Someone who can build our sales team, who can be a part of the executive team impacting the overall business strategy but also happily mix a drink in a bar.
What you’ll do:
- Define the sales strategy
- Execute the sales strategy in on and off premise channels
- Recruit, train and inspire our sales rep team of 2-4
- Make sales calls on critical customers
- Drive performance
- Manage distributor relationships
- Be active in innovation and improvement of product(s)
- Drive sales forecasting
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
- Strong analytical skills, highly focused on providing a structured, systematic approach to delivering data-driven solutions
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships, develop business plans, focus on goals & objectives, and displays sense of urgency towards achieving results
- Effectively operate in a team environment and experience with leading and directing the work of others through direct management and indirect management with strong influential skills
- Excellent interpersonal, management, critical thinking and technical problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple projects and easily adapt to changing situations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to rally and motivate an internal and external audience
- Forward thinker with positive attitude and influence who actively seeks opportunities
- Proven ability to create and implement policies/programs while influencing change
- Detail and multi-task oriented; demonstrated ability to successfully juggle competing priorities and sometimes conflicting goals
- Computer proficiency required, including experience with Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Willingness to work flexible and extended hours as needed, including weekends and off-shifts as necessary
- 10+ years’ business work experience, majority preferably in sales and customer management
- Previous work in beverage / CPG industry; alcoholic spirits experience beneficial
