Madam Paleta Tequila is seeking an enthusiastic Market Sales Specialist to join our team and contribute to the growth of our startup brand in Dallas. This individual will manage on and off-premise visits and sampling events, identify sales opportunities, develop unique sales strategies to acquire new accounts, build relationships, and achieve sales goals. The position will start with a three-month contract, with the
opportunity for full-time employment at the end of the contract, contingent on meeting KPIs and mutual agreement to extend.

Sales:
- Identify opportunities, secure and maintain new distribution, sales, features, sampling events (among others), achieving monthly sales KPIs as outlined by the Sales Director
- Build and maintain relationships with distributor partners, key accounts, and identify new customers
- Leverage surveys and maintain marketplace documentation
- Track market activity and monitor the competitive marketplace
Marketing & Promotion:
- Identify, manage and conduct market activations and sampling events in the on and off-premise, adhering to outlined KPIs
- Manage associated documentation and assets (reporting, inventory, spend, etc) in coordination with the Sales Director
Administrative:
- Manage market inventory and request new merchandise/re-orders as applicable
- Submit required documentation, including surveys, hours, mileage and expenses weekly
Compliance:
- Verify and ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to selling, offering, and sampling spirits in the State of Texas
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English required (Spanish speaking is a plus)
- Entry level to three years of experience
- Sales experience and direct on-premise/customer experience preferred
- Must submit proof of and maintain a valid TABC license
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as requested
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license to get to and from sales calls and events. General liability and automobile insurance recommended/preferred
- Ability to transport, set up and tear down events, move heavy boxes of liquor (10-20lbs), props etc.
- Expected to be self-motivated, goal-oriented and a problem-solver
- Strong organizational, communication and influencing skills required
- Ability to pass a background check with no legal issues
