Role Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sales and the world of cocktails. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by proactively engaging with new and existing customers, aligning with company sales and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to customers to expand the customer base and increase sales.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute strategies that drive sales depletions and distribution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale distributors to enhance sales channels.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop tailored sales strategies for specific customer segments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed of industry trends and opportunities.
- Participate in sales meetings and presentations, sharing insights and progress updates.
- Create and manage sales pipelines, tracking activities and opportunities in CRM software.
- Develop training materials and resources for new team members or distributor representatives.
- Represent Liquid Alchemist at trade shows, industry events, and tastings to increase brand awareness.
- Utilize MS Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports, presentations, and analyses.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- 2+ years in the beverage alcohol industry or related sector.
- 2+ years of experience working with a wholesale distributor, with a deep understanding of distributor dynamics.
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals and quotas.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the cocktail syrups category and their applications in cocktails.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and sales pipeline management.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Experience in event coordination or participation, such as trade shows or customer demos, is a plus.
- A passion for mixology and an appreciation for craft cocktails is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus but not required.
Performance Metrics
- Achievement of sales goals.
- Regular submission of accurate sales reports.
- Development and execution of target customer lists.
- Alignment with and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $50,000+
- Bonus Potential: Monthly and annual bonuses with total earnings up to 50% of base salary.
