The Senior Regional Sales Manager will lead and cultivate a team of sales professionals to achieve company goals. This Manager will balance team management responsibilities with the pressure to meet and exceed sales targets and maintain client relationships. In addition to managing and developing a team, the Senior Regional Sales Manager’s job responsibilities include developing and researching sales strategies to build and expand relationships and increase business with existing distribution partners, key accounts, and retail customers. This position is responsible for achieving objectives that lead to increased distribution, sales, revenue, and profitability. The Senior Sales Manager represents the entire portfolio of company products and focuses on strategic accounts. Focus 90% of time in CA and 10% on management and leadership of team in HI.

This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and must reside in Southern California.

· Manage and lead a team of employees to meet or exceed company goals.
· Support and develop employees to their full potential via monitoring, mentoring, training, and effective leadership.
· Establish, manage and nurture relationships with Distributors, On and Off-Premise Retailers, Chains and other stakeholders, proactively generating new business to accomplish sales objectives.
· Strengthen established accounts in the territory by providing exceptional knowledge and service in a timely fashion. Ensure existing clients are well-versed in the story of Kōloa Rum Company products.
· Support the sales strategy through ideation, coordination and execution of sales and related marketing activities for new and existing customers.
· Identify opportunities to create brand awareness throughout the territory.
· Ensure proper tracking for programing, planning, and distribution.
· Prepare forecasts for budgets and depletions on an as needed basis.
· Create strategic presentations for new or expanded item reviews to include programming and distribution goals.
· Review and analyze market conditions to ensure sales plans are achieved and adjusted as needed.
· Form productive working relationships with customers by anticipating, and responding to opportunities, needs, and problems while aligning with prioritized areas of focus pertaining to each market.
· Demonstrated ability to build relationships based on mutual trust and respect, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
· Effectively monitor and manage distributor chargebacks and travel expenses.
- Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing with special projects, as assigned.
