The Regional Sales Manager position is a full-time, salaried position that is the face of our company and brands in the Southern California region. This position is responsible for achieving key sales objectives through distributor management and growing new accounts by creating and fostering relationships with those distributors, accounts and customers.
This position is to be based in the Los Angeles area and will be responsible for covering Southern California.

- Assist in the development of quarterly and annual sales plan for achieving sales targets with distributors in the territory
- Visit key accounts within the territory to build and maintain relationships with buyers/decision-makers
- Establish a plan prior to visiting a market, utilize sales reps, VIP information, and appropriate sales materials
- Educate account staff about our brands and products and find opportunities for new products
- Explain the history of the portfolio and the short and long term visions
- Actively seek and target new perspective accounts
- Maintain and build relationships with sales reps and managers for distributor partners within the territory to maximize communication and focus on our brands
- Educate distributor reps and managers about our brands and products through regular in-person, phone, and email communications, as well as scheduling and presenting at sales meetings when possible
- Schedule and perform regular ride-alongs with distributor sales staff
- Maintain weekly written communications with the distribution team and distributors regarding your activities
- Supply distributors and accounts with marketing materials, and assist the marketing team to develop more focused materials as needed
- Gather market information and feedback from distributors, accounts, and customers in the territory; communicate back to the distribution and marketing teams
- Plan and arrange on and off premise events at accounts and work with distributors to effectively promote the brands
- Identify events and opportunities to showcase the brands, including but not limited to beer festivals and events focused on beer and food
- Participate in beer samplings, promotions, beer festivals, and related events
- Monitor wholesalers inventory and depletions
- Promptly reply to all emails and phone calls

Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Passion and knowledge for beer
- Ability to communicate effectively and with excellent customer service skills, both orally and written
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, VIP & CRM Software
- Valid Driver’s License and automobile
- Able to travel abroad
- Travel required
- Beverage Industry Experience Preferred
