The On-Premise market manager is responsible for executing and developing brand-building initiatives within a specified account universe. This includes distributing brands within the entire portfolio, managing and strengthening relationships with key accounts, and executing promotional activities, events, and training.
Responsibilities:
• Secure distribution standards within a Key Account Universe of approximately 30-50 key premise accounts.
• Schedule and execute promotional activity within the Key Account Universe, securing continuous drink features and strategic brand promotions.
• Secure placement of branded visibility POS, consistent with the current marketing plans throughout the Key Account Universe.
• Maintain updated account profiles and track progress against activities.
• Track, report, and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of on-premise initiatives using Diver program and other tracking processes and goals.
• Develop strong relationships with key account management, ownership, and sales representatives to identify sales and marketing opportunities within the Key Account Universe.
• Manage details in executing all on-premise specific activity, including management of promotional agencies and other on-premise special needs.
• Conduct regular wait staff training within the Key Account Universe, educating staff on the portfolio.
• Execute local sponsorship activity where it pertains to the Key Account Universe.
• Conduct regular market surveys and report findings back to the business.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows.
Business Analyst
• Review Group business
• Review Account classification groups. For example, airports, country clubs, sports bars, banquet facilities
• Help to analyze overall business and our go to market strategies.
• Menu dissection and integration menu surveys with go spot check and other platforms.
• Organize the promotional calendar
• Arrange on premise meetings for wine and spirits team, organize the group initiatives and incentives
• Organize Powerpoint presentations
• Organize customer visits to our Fedway Laboratory
This role will be in the office 2 – 3 days per week and on the road the remainder of the days.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• 2 years minimum, Hospitality experience
• 1 - 2 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably in the beverage industry.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Diver program or other similar tracking systems preferred.
• Experience in the beverage industry preferred.
• Passion for the beverage industry and knowledge of brands and trends a plus.
Maintain a valid NJ driver's license and be insurable by the company's motor vehicle liability carrier.
• Obtain an NJ State Solicitor's Permit.
Physical Demands:
