Job Overview

We are seeking a humble, charismatic, and community-focused Brand Ambassador to represent our craft tequila brand, Dame Mas, based in Los Angeles. As the face of the brand, you will be responsible for developing our strategic new market of Los Angeles and the surrounding influential cities. Your mission will be to build brand awareness by educating the market, networking, and creating memorable experiences for consumers.

With strong entrepreneurial skills, you will identify, foster, and nurture key lighthouse accounts and end-consumers, ensuring they connect with the essence of our tequila. This role calls for a strategic individual with an eye for detail—someone who can seamlessly navigate the exclusive lifestyle of the region, build relationships with key stakeholders, and communicate our brand’s message with class and sophistication.

In the first 120 days 

In your first 120 days as the Brand Ambassador for Dame Mas Tequila, your primary focus will be developing the Los Angeles market. You’ll achieve this by establishing strategic partnerships with key On & Off premise accounts. You will increase brand visibility through activities such as staff trainings, tastings, securing menu and back-bar placements, and executing activations that create meaningful connections with the brand. Simultaneously, you’ll cultivate an exclusive network of high-profile private consumers, offering them personalized, white-glove experiences with our tequila, ensuring memorable and lasting impressions.

Collaborating closely with distributor sales teams and local retailers, you’ll share the brand’s story, educate them on in-market activities, and ensure everyone is aligned with the overall strategy. Your success in these 120 days will be measured by your ability to build strong relationships, increase brand awareness, and lay a solid foundation for growth in this vital region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Representation: Acting as the refined & polished face of our artisanal tequila brand in the market, you will provide expert knowledge about Tequila Dame Mas, our products and brand story. In this role, you will interact with our treasured end-consumer 60% of the time, and with the trade 40% of the time. This balance will require impeccable time management and agency to make the right decisions.
  • Consumer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key high-profile consumers, influencers, and local businesses. Create a “WOW” factor in each interaction, ensuring each engagement leaves a lasting impression, ultimately building brand loyalty for Tequila Dame Mas.
  • Storytelling & Education: Deliver captivating narratives about the history, craftsmanship, and artisanal methods behind the tequila. Use your knowledge to engage and educate consumers, media, influencers, and industry professionals.
  • Event Execution: Organize & execute exclusive brand events such as Tequila Dinners and Private Events that showcase our brand in unique and compelling ways. Ensure that all events align with the brand’s highest standards of elegance.
  • Insight Driven: As the guardian of our Brand Truth, you will conduct market activity based off the foundation of Insights that align with executing our Brand Strategy. You will be required to digest insights and turn them into in-market action, as well as research & report insights relevant to your respective market to the greater sales & marketing team.
  • Market Insights: Provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams based on consumer interactions. Monitor competitors' activities and industry trends to identify opportunities for brand growth.
  • Sales Support: Engage with our trade customers and end-consumers to create a memorable and long-term relationship with Tequila Dame Mas.
  • Acts as a personal Concierge to Private Consumers, Facilitates special orders and requests with comprehensive communication and a service-driven mindset, consistently going the extra mile to exceed expectations.
 
Qualifications:

  • You embody a humble confidence, embracing individuality and approaching every interaction with grace and authenticity.
  • You have exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to captivate an audience and convey a compelling narrative.
  • You embody an Entrepreneurial spirit – always ready to “Give More” in order to share our brand essence
  • You come with proven experience as a Brand Concierge, or in a similar role in which you provided access to a lifestyle brand
  • You embrace a “make it happen” mindset, willing to problem solve and overcome challenges
  • You deliver a sophisticated, polished appearance with the ability to represent our artisanal brand in upscale settings.
  • You have developed strong Networking capabilities and the ability to breakdown doors and forge new relationships.
  • You have the willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field would be a bonus.
