We’re now looking for a VP of Marketing to help bring our message to the world as the chief evangelist for the company. We want someone who sees the vision and the potential of not only a new category of beverage but an entirely new marketplace of beverages that has never existed before now.
The Vice President of Marketing will lead the overall marketing strategy and execution for Cantrip, a leading national hemp beverage company. This entrepreneurially minded executive will drive brand awareness, market penetration, and revenue growth by crafting innovative marketing campaigns and fostering strong customer engagement. The VP of Marketing will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and align marketing initiatives with the company’s strategic goals. The VP of Marketing should be Type A, able to both see the big picture and obsess over the details.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve company objectives in brand positioning, market share growth, and sales performance.
Brand Management: Oversee the development and enhancement of the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
Product Marketing: Collaborate with product development teams to craft go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with customer insights and market trends.
Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing efforts, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and e-commerce initiatives.
Market Research: Conduct and analyze market research to identify new opportunities, consumer preferences, and competitive positioning.
Customer Engagement: Build and nurture customer loyalty through targeted campaigns, influencer partnerships, and experiential marketing initiatives.
Sales Collaboration: Partner with sales leadership to drive demand generation and support sales enablement initiatives.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Leadership and Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, fostering innovation and professional growth.
Public Relations: Oversee public relations efforts to build strong media relationships and drive positive brand coverage.
Qualifications:
Obsessed with beverages of all types
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of success in the beverage, food & beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and driving e-commerce growth.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
