Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team, ensuring their growth and success within the organization
- Work closely with 5+ sales reps in the field, providing coaching and support to grow their accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail & on-premise accounts, particularly in the restaurant and hospitality sectors
- Leverage technology to track performance, manage sales, and enhance efficiency
- Represent the brand at industry events, tastings, and trade shows
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on sales strategies and market expansion
- Maintain an active presence in the market, spending most of the week engaging with accounts and being available as needed (evening availability)
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of industry experience, preferably in a distributor or supplier role
- Established relationships with on-premise, retail, & chain accounts in CT
- Strong knowledge of wine, with WSET Level II or higher preferred
- In-depth rolodex of sales techniques; someone who knows how to win business without “pay to play” tactics
- Experience managing or mentoring a team in a sales-driven environment
- Tech-savvy, comfortable using sales tools and CRM systems to drive performance
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Passion for wine and the ability to educate and inspire sales teams
- Based anywhere in CT
