About the Role
The On-Premise Sales Manager is a critical role for American Metal Whiskey (AMW), driving sales, increasing on-premise distribution, and building brand awareness in Texas—a key focus market for 2025. Based in the Austin/San Antonio area, this individual will work closely with on-premise accounts such as bars, restaurants, and hospitality venues to establish AMW as a premier whiskey brand. With a passion for craft spirits and industry expertise, the On-Premise Sales Manager will be instrumental in growing our presence in this dynamic market.
The On-Premise Sales Manager is a critical role for American Metal Whiskey (AMW), driving sales, increasing on-premise distribution, and building brand awareness in Texas—a key focus market for 2025. Based in the Austin/San Antonio area, this individual will work closely with on-premise accounts such as bars, restaurants, and hospitality venues to establish AMW as a premier whiskey brand. With a passion for craft spirits and industry expertise, the On-Premise Sales Manager will be instrumental in growing our presence in this dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Premise Account Development:
- Build and strengthen relationships with on-premise accounts to grow distribution and sales of AMW products.
- Collaborate with bartenders, buyers, and managers to drive menu placements and brand visibility.
- Identify and target high-potential venues for partnership opportunities.
- Brand Activation:
- Organize and execute strategic events, including tastings, promotional nights, and brand-sponsored experiences.
- Partner with accounts to deliver compelling consumer education and staff training sessions.
- Represent AMW at regional industry events, festivals and core lifestyle events to expand brand recognition.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Implement sales strategies to meet defined goals and increase market share in the on-premise sector.
- Monitor and report sales performance, account feedback, and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with distributors to ensure product availability and promotional support.
- Brand Advocacy:
- Act as the face of American Metal Whiskey within the industry, embodying the brand's authenticity, craftsmanship, and bold personality.
- Communicate AMW's unique value proposition, targeting key demographics and leading interaction with important bartneders and accounts
Qualifications
- Proven on-premise sales experience in the spirits industry, preferably with whiskey.
- Strong network and understanding of Texas on-premise accounts, especially in Austin/San Antonio.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing brand presence in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Passion for craft spirits, with knowledge of whiskey production and appreciation for AMW’s lifestyle brand positioning.
- Flexibility to travel locally and work evenings and weekends as needed.
