The Witor’s is a family owned and operated Italian chocolate company founded by Roberto Bonetti in 1959 in a small in Cremona, Italy. Today retailers sell our products in over 80 countries around the world. We have two manufacturing facilities in Northern Italy where we produce all of our chocolate truffles, bars and snacks. 

We have a true "start-up" environment and mentality in the US branch of Witor's, but are supported by a mid-size, established Italian company. The work atmosphere is high-paced, as there are lots of new sales opportunities emerging every day, but we are a flexible company that puts the quality and completion of the work ahead of the need to follow a rigid schedule. Though we are 6 hours and many miles apart, we have a strong connection to our Italian home base and communicate with the team there on a daily basis. We follow a hybrid office schedule for those in the NYC area, and leadership is always available to answer questions or provide insight or training. 

At this stage of our development in the US we do not have any programs in place to give back to the community. However, the Italian company is involved in lots of programs locally through sponsorships and other methods. This is something that is very important to our company and we will work to involve ourselves in the community in the US once we reach the appropriate scale. 

The Witor’s story begins in 1959 in a small workshop in Cremona, Italy where a young man in his thirties, Roberto Bonetti, dreams of producing chocolate on a large scale, but doesn’t have a penny to his name. He nonetheless throws himself into an arduous adventure, starting small and creating new innovations, like his famous chocolate “Boero”, he expands rapidly taking the tiny factory to undreamt of heights. Today, Witor’s has two large factories in northern Italy and creates hundreds of premium chocolate treats that are enjoyed in more than 80 countries around the world!
