Madécasse [mah-day-kas] is on a mission to change the way the world experiences chocolate, from the cocoa farmer to the end consumer.

While 85% of the world's chocolate tastes the same, we use Heirloom Cocoa which has a naturally robust flavor that's often described as "fruity" with notes of cherry, cranberry, raspberry and plum. We also use an exclusive Direct Trade model to source our cocoa from our partner farmers. This not only creates a more transparant supply chain, it also enables us to pay farmers more for their crops by cutting out the middle men. Our farmers are better able to provide for their families and produce superier quality cocoa, which translates to better business and a better product.

Madécasse was named one of the “World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies” in 2011 by Fast Company, and the “2012 Leader of Change” by the United Nations Office of Partnerships and the Foundation for Social Change.
