This led us to a simple question.
We brew honest alcohol for a healthier planet.
It all started as we were wandering the aisles of our local grocery store: Why do we know so much about the food we eat, but not the alcohol we drink? This simple question led us to create JuneShine.

We brew alcohol that you can feel better about drinking. It's all handcrafted in San Diego, CA with real, premium ingredients. No sketchy sweeteners, syrups, or artificial flavors. Everything is sustainably produced, too–we're completely carbon neutral and donate one percent of sales to environmental nonprofits.

It all started in June 2018, brewing organic hard kombucha in our garage.
We knew we wanted to create an alcohol we felt better about drinking, and we knew we wanted it to taste delicious. We had just finished brewing our first couple kegs of Blood Orange Mint and invited a few friends over. A few friends turned into 20, which turned into 50, and the kegs were dry in just a few short hours. We knew we were on to something.

To this day, we brew Blood Orange Mint with the same ingredients as we did in our garage. JuneShine's brewed with real, organic ingredients: green tea, honey, fruit juice, spices, and our Jun kombucha base (also known as the SCOBY). The flavors are so smooth, it's literally called "the champagne of kombuchas."

Meet our new canned cocktails.
Every good book has more than one chapter, and this is our chapter two. We're three and a half years into brewing hard kombucha, and we're seeing sustainable, organic disruptors like us everywhere...except for high ABV canned cocktails. We decided to craft our own, and JuneShine Spirits was born.

All our canned cocktails are made with premium spirits, real juice and sparkling water at 8-10% ABV, which equals about two shots per can. And unlike most canned cocktails that have up to 30g of sugar, JuneShine Spirits have no added sugar.
