Located right outside of Louisville KY on the entry to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail; Jeptha Creed Distillery will be a state of the art distillery, tasting room, restaurant, and event center in Shelbyville, KY. Founded in 2015 by The Nethery Family, Jeptha Creed Distillery represents bringing together the family’s passion as generational farmers and proud Kentuckians.   Jeptha is derived from the Jeptha Knobs, which is a set of hills in Shelby County Kentucky.  The Jeptha Knob was named by Squire Boone, who was Daniel Boone’s brother and pioneered with Daniel prior to Kentucky becoming a state.  There is documentation that Squire and Daniel Boone successfully hunted Whitetail deer and Buffalo in these knobs and were able to provide for themselves with resources from the Jeptha Knobs.  Squire Boone named the Knobs  after a biblical Warrior: Jepthah in Judges 11.  We choose Jeptha Knob because of the local history tied into the land.  Creed represents our promise to provide a unique, high-quality product that you can be proud of. The portfolio will initially consist of a line of vodkas, moonshines, whiskeys, and other yet to be announced offerings.  All products will be estate produced and made from real and natural ingredients.
