About Ample Hills Creamery

Ample Hills Creamery is a beloved ice cream company based in Brooklyn. Known for our whimsical flavors like Ooey Gooey Butter Cake, Breakfast Trash and It Came From Gowanus, our delicious ice cream delights both kids and kids-at-heart alike. We’ve been rated #1 in New York City by Zagat, named “Best Ice Cream in America” by Food Network and cited by Oprah Winfrey as one of her “favorite things.”

We made ice cream history as the first to pasteurize on-site in New York City, earning us the nickname of “Brooklyn’s freshest.” At 15,000sq ft, our Red Hook Factory is the largest ice cream production facility in New York City. We even ship our ice cream nationwide with a growing e-commerce presence. Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a small pushcart in Prospect Park to a bustling business with scoop shops on both coasts and big plans to keep growing in the months ahead.

At Ample Hills, our mission is to share joy with our neighborhoods, one scoop at a time. Achieving that mission takes commitment, and commitment comes from people. We’re searching for the right people to join us in making the world a little sweeter. As we grow, our Amployees grow with us. We take pride in the fact that some of our managers and division heads started off as ice cream shop scoopers! If you want to join our growing team and help spread joy to communities you care about, we’d love for you to join us.
