ZoRoCo is currently accepting resumes for an additional Business Development Director to lead and manage a pipeline of prospects to support open capacity within our three manufacturing facilities. Our Business Development Director plays a key role in executing sales strategies and driving new business relationships with multi-national conglomerates and high growth entrepreneurial companies seeking reliable, consistent manufacturing services. About Your Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Hyper-focused on new customer acquisition.
  • Establish and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Lead and drive business development activities including lead generation, value analysis, needs assessment, deal management, product commercialization, competitive positioning, demonstrations, proposal preparation and delivery, and contract development.
  • Navigate prospects through our proven process, the pathway to long term partnerships: discovery, collaboration, accountability, consistency, processes, execution, communication, and strategy.
  • Accountability to a weekly scorecard, along with monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
  • Continuous self-development to provide improved sales processes, procedures, and practices.
About Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years new business development experience, with a minimum 4 years within contract food manufacturing, food co-packaging, or food supply chain industries (food packaging materials or ingredients).
  • Connected within the CPG food space
  • Experience in commercialization/ launches of new food products.
  • Exceptional communication, commercialization, negotiation, and financial skills.
  • Solution oriented; always focused on solving problems.
  • Cultivates strong, enduring relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Spearheads the development and execution of innovative sales strategies to penetrate new markets and segments.
  • Champion of a customer-centric approach, enhancing service levels and satisfaction across all interactions.
  • Fosters a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
  • Project management fundamentals to easily facilitate cross functional projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
